Conquerors for Christ Ministry has taken time out from our study on End Times Prophecy to review Jimmy Swaggart's study on The Lord's Divine Healing. On this page, you will find the introduction to the study as well as links to each chapter. This study has edified and strengthened the mighty Conquerors for Christ. We pray it does the same for you. May it grow your faith in Jesus Christ and what he did at The Cross of Calvary for your salvation, sanctification, and healing of your mind, soul, body, and spirit.

Introduction

Let’s take time to peruse this introduction to the book, Divine Healing. It will set the stage for that which will be said.

  • Does The Lord still heal the sick? At times, He does.
  • Are we saying that The Lord does not always heal in answer to prayer? That’s exactly what we are saying.
  • Why doesn’t He always heal, that is, if it’s Biblical to be healed at all? While it is always the will of God to heal the sick, it’s not always His wisdom.
  • Is it always a lack of faith? Sometimes it is, and sometimes it isn’t.
  • We must understand that the entirety of humanity, even believers, still lives under the shadow of the fall. This means that the physical body ages and finally wears out. At the present time, there is nothing that can be done about that.
  • Will The Lord, at times, heal unsaved people? Yes. At times He will, but He is under no obligation to do so.
  • Does it hinder one’s faith to see a doctor or to take medicine? Emphatic no. In fact, in the coming Kingdom age when the Lord will reign personally, medicine will be dispensed all over the world (Ezekiel 47:12).
  • Does The Lord use other means, at times, to heal, such as doctors, medicine, etc.? Yes, He does.
  • Is all sickness caused by demon spirits all of the time? No. Sickness is caused by a multitude of things. However, demon spirits most definitely can cause sickness at times.
  • Have you ever personally been healed? Yes, I have. Actually, we will begin this book by giving the testimony of the time that The Lord miraculously and gloriously healed me.
  • Do you personally pray for the sick? Yes, I do.

Poem:

O Thou God of my salvation

My Redeemer from all sin

Moved by Thy compassion

Who has died my heart to win

I will praise Thee, I will praise Thee

Where shall I Thy praise begin?

I will praise Thee, I will praise Thee

Where shall I Thy praise begin?

Though unseen, I love the Savior

He hath brought salvation near

Manifest His pardoning favor

And when Jesus does appear

Soul and body, soul and body

Shall His glorious image bear

Soul and body, soul and body

Shall His glorious image bear

While the angel choirs are crying

Glory to the Great I AM

I with them will still be vying

Glory to The Lamb

Oh, how precious, Oh how precious

Is the sound of Jesus’ Name

Oh, how precious, Oh how precious

Is the sound of Jesus’ Name

Angels now are hovering round us

Unperceived amid the throng

Wondering at the Love that crowned us

Glad to join the holy song

Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Love and praise to Christ belong

Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Love and praise to Christ belong
